Your images
All compression, conversion, and resizing happens entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Your files are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored on any server — ours or anyone else's. We could not see your images even if we wanted to. When you close the tab, everything is gone.
What we don't collect
Squishpix has no user accounts, no login, and no database. We do not collect your name, email address, file names, file contents, or anything about the images you process. We do not use advertising trackers or sell data to third parties — there is no data to sell.
Hosting & basic logs
This site is served as static files. Like virtually every website, our hosting provider may keep standard, short-lived server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and operations. These logs never include your images, which are not transmitted in the first place.
Cookies & local storage
Squishpix does not set tracking cookies. If we remember anything at all (such as your preferred output format), it is stored only in your own browser's local storage and never sent anywhere.
Third-party links
Donation links go to Ko-fi, an external service with its own privacy policy. Anything you share there is governed by Ko-fi, not us.
